Home Remedies To Control High Levels Of Uric Acid

Natural remedies are better than drugs to control high levels of uric acid in the body. First of all, consult your doctor about the level of uric acid in your bloodstream. After that, try Azadirachta indica, also known as neem ,especially for home care.

Being healthy is not for special occasions. It’s a way of life that you can live every day, and it should be the goal to achieve this health lifestyle as soon as possible. The first step towards achieving good health is by controlling your uric acid levels. If you have high levels of uric acid, then there are certain home remedies which will help reduce them naturally. Here we go with some effective ways to control uric acid:

1) Garlic – This herb has been used since ancient times to treat various diseases including gout. In fact, garlic helps lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels while improving circulation. Garlic also contains flavonoids, vitamin C, calcium and iron. So eat more garlic!

2) Cinnamon – Cinnamon lowers bad cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL or “good” cholesterol. It may even prevent heart disease.

3) Ginger – Ginger reduces inflammation throughout the body. Inflammation causes pain and swelling so ginger could be helpful if you suffer from these symptoms.

4) Apple cider vinegar – Vinegar works well against bacteria and viruses. You can use apple cider vinegar diluted in water to wash vegetables like cucumbers and tomatoes. Or drink 1-2 tablespoons each time after meals.

5) Almond milk – Almonds contain magnesium which relaxes muscles and improves digestion. They also promote weight loss. Drink almond milk instead of regular cow milk.

6) Yogurt – A cup of yogurt daily provides probiotics. Probiotic foods include dairy products such as cheese, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, pickles, etc., fermented soybeans, miso soup, tempeh, natto, and others. These beneficial microbes improve digestive function and boost immunity.

7) Watermelon juice – Drinking 2 glasses per day helps flush toxins out of the system. Mix one half teaspoon of honey into 4 ounces of fresh watermelon juice. Honey is an excellent source of antioxidants too.

8) Green tea – Green tea contains catechins which protect cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals cause cell death and aging. Green tea also increases metabolism and burns fat faster than any other beverage.

9) Flaxseed oil – Omega 3 fatty acids found in flaxseeds increase absorption of nutrients. Eat two teaspoons of ground flax seeds once per week.

10) Olive Oil – Olive oil contains monounsaturated fats which decrease LDL or "bad" cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol. Add olive oil to salads or drizzle on bread.

11) Broccoli -This cruciferous vegetable fights cancer and boosts immune systems. Try steaming broccoli rather than boiling it because boiling destroys many vitamins.

12) Spinach – Spicy food stimulates appetite, but spinach leaves calm down hunger pangs.
